Cleaner Clip is a patent pending designed clip created to help prevent automated swimming pool cleaners from getting tangled and knotted up. The clip simply snaps onto 1inch hoses for automated pool cleaners providing the rigidity to keep the hose straight while still allowing enough flexibility for the pool cleaner to move around the pool.
Directions
- 1.) After purchasing Cleaner Clip read all safety instructions
- 2.) Then throw away or recycle packaging (Make sure to keep packaging away from infants and small children, it may be a choking hazard)
- 3.) Turn off the cleaner pump followed by the pool pump
- 4.) Place clips on hose pushing down at the ends till the clip snaps onto the hose. Avoid putting clips over swivels or floats. It is important to consider that because every pool is different in size and shape the placement of clips may vary from pool to pool. 10 clips are recommended for every 20 feet of hose .
- 5.) Once Clips are in place, turn your pool pump back on, followed by your cleaner pump.
- 6.) If you still have tangling issues:
- First make sure your pool cleaner is installed correctly (according to the guidelines from the manufacturer)
- Next try adjusting the positions of the clips
- Remember every pool is unique with its own shape and placement of the wall fittings. If the wall fitting is near the top of the water line try moving the clips and floats away from the wall.
- Also consider checking out the pool cleaner itself to make sure the wheels, jets and other parts are in the proper settings, most pool cleaners can be slowed down by adjusting the setting.
- Finally consider adding more clips, 10 clips are recommended for every 20 feet of hose.
